I have a 2001 cobra with exhaust, CAI, and wheels. I have about 1500 bucks. What are the best bang for me bones investments for this sucker? I was thinkin headers, midpipe, n maybe a short shifter. Tell me what you guys think. Oh yeah I'm going to lower it so that knocks off like 300.

I would hit up some cams for the 1500. If i have a large amount of money i go for a big mod cause its too easy to chip away at the little mods and never get to the big ones. A set of cams will give you a very nice gain.

you have some good ideas for sure but i would also go with some steeper gears like 4.10's and maybe some upper and lower control arms to make em hook. That would really be the best bag for your buck

cams or LT's only if you can install them yourself. cams and then what they charge will be over your 1200 (after springs). but i wouldn't take it to no shady tree mechanic to make it fit the budget either.
the LT's, mid pipe and shifter won't be hard to do, the LT's can be a pita but time and paitence..it can be done.
The mid pipe, shifter and 4.10's sound good too.

also look into getting a tuner or getting the car tuned at a shop. you will deff see an imporvement for that
