i gather the previous owner did not give you the certificate of authenticity that comes with the car. I had to track mine down after I bought the car. It should be of no value to anyone without the car. Contact the seller, its probably sitting in a drawer.

Nice. I tried the same approach initially. I spoke twice to a fellow who I'm certain was employed there for exactly 10 minutes. I am no historian and I don't know much about production numbers but I had to tell this guy his business.

You happen to have that number? I'd really like to get mine as well. Too bad someone ripped the tag off my valve cover before i got mine. Seriously what could that be worth?
