Default My car is running again!

Hey guys i just fired my car up yesterday after a long two months of trying to get everything i needed to fix my problem. It was the timing chain guides and tensioners which where the issues. My car started up great no more rattling which was exciting. I also put some BBK L/T's ceramic coated on while i was doing this. Left the headers open took it for a test drive around the block and i am pretty sure all my neighbors either hated me or didnt know what to say. Blank expressions on all of them. But the car runs good no issues anymore hopefully for a while.

You remind me of my Brother in law, who after working late into the evening to get the engine into his ski boat thought it a good idea to fire up that uncorked Olds 454 in the driveway at 11:30 at night. Cops were there in about 15 minutes. Seems that the old woman trying to sleep next door didn't like getting blown out of bed.

That exhaust setup is gonna show some NICE HP gains over stock exhaust manifolds on the Dyno!
Who installed the long tubes and how many hours?

well i orignally pulled the motor bc i was going to do forged internals ran short on cash so i just fixed my problem got long tubes and the trans rebuilt with new HD clutch and pressure plate etc. i put the motor all together to include trans starter and passenger side header. droped the motor in half way installed the driver side header then droped the motor down all the way. so to install the actual headers a matter of maybe an hour but to get the motor and everything droped back into place about 3 hours with everything on. the hardest part was lining up the motor mounts. i put the motor in with me and my 2 freinds.
