Default 97 Cobra rear sway bar problems?
My friend next door just came home with a loud banging noise under the car. I checked it out and the rear sway bar BROKE OFF on the right side right where it bolts to the control arm! It broke right before the mounting bolts. The car only has 31xxx miles on it and she never drives the car hard at all.(She is 41 years old and owned it since new.) Is this a problem anyone else has had and what would be a good stock replacement. It looks like it was made of pot metal!

Yep, I've broken 4 of them! Maximum motorsports makes the best one...the rest basically suck.
