Default Need new mufflers/wheel bearings for my 1999 Cobra. Any advice?

I just recently noticed a different sound coming out of my exhaust so I decided to check it out and I realized I have a small hole in each of my mufflers. Also, I just took it in to get checked because I heard another strange noise coming out of the back near the tires. They tell me that I need new wheel bearings. So I am in need some advice on what type of mufflers I should get. The previous owner had Flowmasters on there. Any thoughts on what sounds the best/best performance? Also, is there a specific type of wheel bearings that is best for my car considering it has (IRS) independent rear suspension?

Wow, there are so many posts on mufflers it should be it's own category...I'd check youtube to review the sounds.

You could go back to flows or i prefer Bassani. You can go to Ford to get the bearings.

So would you guys (and girls) recommend just getting new mufflers or going all out and getting a whole new exhaust system? Where is a good place to look for aftermarket cobra part? Summit racing is near where I live and it's where most of the people around here go for aftermarket parts for all types of cars, however they do not have much for a 1999.

i would get the full catback system, if you can afford it. I got my Bassani headers, X pipe and catback from

www.lightningforceperformance.com

pretty good price and free shipping on most parts. You can google 99 or 01 Cobra catback and it'll come up with different sites to purchase from.

Ebay has lots of vendors selling new mufflers and systems, check it out...ultimately your wallet may decide what you put on. I'd recommend full length headers and matching system if you can afford it...the sound of those pipes is amazing.
