You will like it. Not sure that it's the loudest. SLP's are quiet loud but produmps beat em all short of open headers. 2.5 will be fine. If you are really wanting to wake up the cops go for an off road X or H if there aren't emission checks in your area.

The flowmaster catback will make it rumble more and I would def get an off road H pipe, if you don't have emissions like stated. That will def make it louder.
My friend has a 96 Cobra several years ago and he had the C&L set up, i think TB, H pipe, Catback and dyno tuned at 293rwhp.

Yeah, it will be loud, however, full long tubes and hi flow cats really wake the engine up and give it a great hi performance sound...nothing like 4 cams screaming!

Thanks, everyone for the compliments.
With long tubes and and some magnaflow high flow cats will my flowmaster catback still be able to bolt on to these? Or should I get shorties? I want to do one upgrade at a time, i want exhaust and my intake to be one of my very first mods, but I want to be able to build on my mods that I already have in the future. I'll be looking at headers and cats soon. I just want to make sure that I'm not going to waste money buying this catback system now, when down the road my new headers and hi flo cats won't fit onto my flowmaster catback.

it will all fit, it's an easy bolt on...never, never use shorty headers, go long or stay stock, besides my supercharger, the long tubes and hi flow cats was the best thing I ever put on my Cobra.

Here's a quick 6000 rpm rev of my 96 cobra. BBk long tubes and hi flow cats into 40 flows and stock tailpipes...listen carefully you can hear the Kenne Bell...hee hee

Yeah, the crazy thing about it is I drive it at least 4 days a week (200 miles minimum), it has over 150K miles on it and the engine and transmission have never had an issue, I put the KB supercharger on it last year without batting an eye...I think it's got to be one the great values in cars today

The SVT folks put pride in their work. It shows. Might want to slap on some subframe connectors while you are at the muffler shop. Usually less than a hundred bucks and get the weld in kind. Headers are a PIA! Nice once they are installed but a repeat, A PIA.
