theres not much mention of anyone using Flowmaster exhaust on 03 Cobras...I had cat back Flowmaster American Thunder on my 02 GT and liked the way they installed easily and the way they sounded...I've been surfing around a few forums and it seems most people are going with Manaflows,Bassani and Mac...I can get really good deals on Flowmaster....I was just wondering why not to many people are using Flowmaster.....Bammer

Because flowmasters are restrictive by design...most people go with Xpipes and flow-through (direct) mufflers.
The 03 Cobra needs a good flowing exhaust because of the added volume of air being moved by the SC.

Bammer, go with Mangnaflows or even Magnapacks. I have had both on my car. I had 40 series on my car before the Magnapacks and I really did the Mags now. I like them, preference is now set on the Mags.

They might be a little but not much if at all, if you ask me. My Car was Dynoed before and after the install, click here to see my results. I think 99+ GT's do better (still not huge gains) going from stock to aftermarket but I don't think big gains come from changing out different aftermarket catbacks. Example: even though Magnapacks are straight through un-like the chambered Flows, my car only seen a 2 RWHP from changing them out. I had placed a 87MM PRO M on it as well and I think that is what gave me the extra 2 to the wheels.

I would say get the Borla Stinger cat back for your 03. It supposedly has great flow.

so true, had the flows, moved on to the magnaflows and they sound great with the o/r x-pipe. flowmaster is o.k. for the $ but for power get the magnaflows...

i have an 04 cobra runs in the 11s using the flowmaster 2 chamber nothing sounds better nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!
