Default Magnaflow or borla?

So Santa might be nice this year and bring me an exshaust but I really have to decide so I was wondering wich would be the best set up? Magnaflow with bassani x pipe or Borla with bassi x pipe?

I'm not really sure there is "best", there are a gazillion opinions on this topic, check youtube and maybe you can decide which sound is best for you

what year is your mustang? My dad had an 04 with magnaflow offroad x-pipe and magnaflowcatbacks and its the best sounding setup in my opinion for that model

Anything is better than stock, if you want to split hairs on what's the "best", that is open to opinion, for the most part it does come down to "sound", if money is no object, equal length long tube headers are scientifically the "best", from there it's a matter of price/sound...I have BBKs long tubes with hi flow cats and 40 flows, trust me, it's a sweet setup, it is reasonably priced and sounds awesome

Default go with full Basanni

I have an 03 cobra with a Bassani catted X-pipe and bassani exhaust. I wanted the Borla stingers, but after riding in a 04 cobra with them they have an annoying drone to them. The magnaflow has a cheap sound to it. We have a place near us called Modular Depot, and they get all cars from all over the globe, ford gt's dodge vipers chellengers, camaro's, so I have heard all of them. I know Bassani is fairly new, but it is a very popular system with those guys, and they know a thing or two. As far as decible, I have bassani cat's and it is plenty loud, in fact I can not imagine it with off-road x pipe. Also they dyno'ed three cobras, mine with bassani catted pipe and two with Bassani off road pipes, and Borla stingers, and mine pulled better because off the back pressure. I have also added a k-n cold air and they tuned it at mod depot, and made 425hp at the wheels and 407 torque

on my current 04 cobra all I have is a Bassani catback but plan to add an xpipe this week. My 99 cobra had a bbk xpipe and magnaflows and in my opinion sounded better then the bassani. Its a badass sounding exhaust. Keep looking around and youtube IS a really good idea to find out what your looking for.

Woohoo! Support for the cheap guys. My UPR "offroad" "X" rolling into my chambered MACS sing like a Valkyrie at high RPMs and roar like a NASCAR at low RPMs. Love the chug chug back crackle when winding down after a down shift. I'm sure that sentence has never been used before in the history of mankind but everybody here knows what I'm talking about.
