Well the 94-95 cobras are only putting out 235 hp stock since they still use the 5.0 block. The 96-98 have the 4.6 which puts out close to 300+. I would personally get the 96-98 for the power...

I just traded my 05 GT for a new 2010 GT 500. It's absolutely unbelievable, scary, nut's, exciting, thrilling, and I could on forever! Even with the 540 Hp they have made it very driver friendly, and a good thing too!

Yea 94-95 Cobras arent the greatest. If you can find a nice 96-98 Cobra you would be much much happier but if your willing to spend around 15,000 i would get a 2001 cobra much better motor all around better heads interior rear end ect 99s are also good but not as good looking as the 01s.

I think the 2003 Terminator Cobra was the best 1 made, then the 96-98 Cobras. The 2001 Cobra had less HP than the 2003. Also per Ford, the 99-01 Cobras had issues with their Independant Rear Suspension resulting in horrible rear hop. Cobras 101.

Well even though I love my 96, remember they suffer from a severe lack of torque and a weakness from the crappy cast pistons and rods, get a Terminator if you can afford one..the Mach 1 is not to be overlooked either if your budget is a bit tamer...of course buying a modded Cobra is always the best value..shop around on Ebay, some great deals to be had these days.
