well i might be getting an 2004 cobra and wanted to know how good is their traction control i know how easily these cars spin and i really dont want that to happen. please help
on my 04 i bought it with the posi loc in the rear end so i dont know how good traction control is because it voids it. but with the 3.55 gears and a posi loc the car spins alot in 1st but 2nd is much better (for hookin up)! you can also help it out by goin with the 315s in rear. but other than that you could play around with the gear ratio and a drag radial.

All depends on how much u slam the gas and if you know how to drive a high horsepower car. +1 on getting bigger tires and rims you can also stiffen it up with new shocks, springs and subframe connectors.
but how well does it work im going to keep it stock
Stock??? What's that? Traction control is useless. Another ingenious solution to a non existent problem. Drive the car with respect especially in wet weather. Don't drive in ice or snow. Maybe a terminator is not for you.

Your typical Terminator with all the usual mods Ford meant for you to do right after you left the showroom.
there is NOTHING worse than lining up next to a vette at a stop light and forgetting to turn the traction control off, as soon as you hammer the throttle and get a little tire spin the TC pulls timing and basically shuts off power for that split second, it SUCKS!! It is a useless function in these cars, if your hauling ass and hit a slick wet part of the road and the rear end starts fishtailing it's too late for the TC to help you!!
NEVER use traction control on these cars, I had that taken off when it was tuned the first week I bought it! It's very handy to blow out your fuel rail pressure sensor if you like spending 100+ for no reason.
+1, i don't have it turned off in my tune but i manually do it everytime i get in the car. It'll work if you break the tires loose but if you drive it normal, it will drive like any other car. If you hammer it, then yeah, it's going to lose traction. I have the Nitto DR 315's on the stock rim and i can get on it about half and it'll just take off but if i get on it hard, it'll spin them easy.

I guess it depends on what kinda girls you want to pick up...if you want girls in "comfortable shoes" get a Subaru, if you want hot chicks in the back seat, you might try the Stang, I only know about the Stang, so decide for yourself.
