Alright, I just bought a 2001 Cobra convertible and want to freshen up the interior. I need to replace the driver’s door pull and upper center console. I assume the interior is still all stock because the original owner left everything else completely stock.

My questions are:
1. What is the color combo for the 01 cobra black interior? Mine is black for the most part, but the door pulls, gauge cluster and center stack are silver/gray.
2. Are they painted to match parts for the Cobra or is there an EOM part/color I can order?

I have talked to the Ford dealer and they seem pretty clueless on the colors and want me to order parts without knowing for sure what color they are. There aren’t any 01’s around me to look at so I need some help.

I'm 99% sure all the door pulls from 99-01 are the same color either gray or parchment, unless you have the FR500 Red... the door pulls are like $55.00 each (I know I just broke one.. and it's staying broken for that price..)

Check your sticker for the color code.. I had the same problem, couldn't find the codes anywhere.. but (link above) there a 'master mustang book'..apparently.

You can also buy vinyl/interior paint if you have a compressor and sprayer ($30-$40) much better than the rattle cans.. you're local paint shop can mix it up for you... I go here... (Welcome to BAPS)

I found the parts at Team Ford Parts Online- Ford OEM Parts at a discount for $32.00 to $36.00, but not sure about the color.

Those parts on my '01 Cobra are the same color as the rest of the interior plastic ... which is actually a dark charcoal gray, not a true black. I wonder if the first owner spray-painted them on yours just for a custom effect.
