Hello everyone, I have a 2001 cobra with flowmasters right now. It has a real good quality sound to it but i want something with more volume. I think I am going to take out the cats on Medusa (car's name) and keep an H pipe for the low end rumbly grumble. I was thinking of just buying the right sized piping and making my own. Any suggestions? Ive also heard people having problems with the sensor not aligning properly. Is it really harder than I think it is to install this thing?

installing an O/R H Pipe on a 99-01 Cobra is a piece of cake if you have a lift, a bit more difficult on jack stands. I For Sure wouldn't fabricate my own, you'll run into problems with the flanges leaking, just get the Mac aluminized H-pipe, search the net and you'll find em new for about $150!
It'll be louder, best to get some long tube headers with the hi flow cats/H Pipe...here's my setup with BBk long tubes/hi flow cats and 40 flows..I love it. YouTube - andrefecteau's Channel

yeah man id like to see those ramps as well. As far as the headers go, I dont think I could pull that off on my car. There is no room to work on my year cobra. (that dohc is a beast)

Yeah you have to disconnect the motor mounts to drop in the long tubes...I had a muffler shop do it..well worth it though.

Put it up on jackstands and put a engine hoist on there, then drop the K memeber. that's how i did mine and it was cake.
+1 on buying the exhaust as opposed to fabricating it. The H or a Bassani X will work great.

I think it was about $350 for the labor...it's been awhile, I will reiterate it was some of the best money I spent...the long tubes/hi flow catted h-pipe and Flowmasters make the car run and sound so much better.

Yeah labor for Longtubes on a 4V cobra ranges from about
$400-$800 depending on the place you take it to and TRUST me if you went to a shop that wasn't a specific Ford speed shop probably 75% wouldn't even wanna tackle it, haha!! They'd pop the hood and shake their heads when they see the few inches of room between the shock towers without even considering dropping the K-Member!
Ohh the sound though once you get them on! Nothing like it...

Oh I agree their a Great Mod for a 4V, especially when running forced induction, just wish the install was as easy as putting equal length shorties on a 5.0L!

+1, def cake on a 5.0 Vs. a 4V.
