Lol do you wanna know what they run or what they dyno at RWHP wise?

I know they have 320 claimed hp from the factory, and i've read about them running around a 13.8@??? but from actual owners of the 1999 or 2001 Cobra i have heard 13.6 is the AVG mostly that or maybe a tad bit higher.

Pre fix: 254HP
Post fix: 276HP
Glass packs: 281HP
Bassani/K&N Filtercharger: 294HP
Stock air box/Bassani wi/baffles: 285HP
Torque numbers were close to the same.

I have run about 14 times in the 1/4. My car is set up for the Road Course. 1/4 is not as easy as it looks.lol
In stock form last year. I ran a 13.7/100 at Cal Speedway.

This year with 3.73's and a full tank. I ran 13.99/102 at Famoso. I did this on the testing day during Fast Fords Weekend. Again, set up for Road Course thus the full tank. I had a leak from one of my axles and input seal, so I put it back on the trailer and took it home.

Currently running stock gears, air box, and stock pipes with Bassani mufflers.

Time for a dyno day in So Cal.

Mike, when you say bassani, do you mean the x-pipe, cat-back, both...?

Venem, I meant I confused you, making me the master.

All of my testing is with the stock H-pipe.

I've modified the Bassani Cat Back for clearance issues, and noise.(going deaf, as I spend alot of time on sea trial working on diesel engines)
I welded the stock cat back pipes to the Bassani mufflers.

I have some friends that tested with Bassanit X-pipe(2 cats) and Bassani Cat Back at 292HP.

The numbers are so close that it could be tire size, air pressure, and ambient temp at time of dyno run.

What are you planing?

If I remember the stock # Ford was hoping for after the fix was 268 to 280 RWHP. I've seen '01's in the same range unmolested.

I'm hoping with a full bassani system (headers, o/r x-pipe, and cat back) and a K&N filtercharger I'll be at 300+rwhp.

I hope you make it. One of the cars had FRPP headers on it as well.

Are you still running 3.27 gears? If so, run it first before you change your gears. I didn't mention that above, but my friends had 3.73's. This lowers the RWHP also.

MK

PS. Don't forget that it's only money.

Just jumping into this one...

By the way new board member. I usualy post at stangnet, or BON.

My 99 was 268RWHP Before Fix, 291RWHP After fix, only mod K&N drop in filter and 3.73 gears (dyno at same shop and same mods).

After a bunch of mods 333RWHP/331RWTQ
