Cocky punk ricer, that's all I've got to say. Like a Cobra would waste it's time with one of those...

The jackass said it himself. "Saw a late model Cobra pulling out of a car wash." THE COBRAS TIRES WERE WET!!! If I remember correctly a TSI had all wheel drive. Plus he said he pull out ahead of the Cobra, so he cheated. May all rice burners or anything with a huge wing die an early and painfull flaming death.

theres no way a stock turbo talon would smoke an 03/04 cobra. i have beat a bunch of talons in my cobra. im not sure if they were turbos, but c'mon, they aren't that fast. i dont think it was wet tires, lack of all wheel drive, or pulling out ahead. i think it was lies, lies, lies. the only way most of those jap cars will pass acobra is with the famous "fly by". thats it.

That's some hilarious stuff. Maybe it was his new set of spark plug wires that gave him the advantage.

Wet tires? I don't think so. I could pull the wheels off my Cobra, run it on the rotors, and still smear the pavement with a TSIs ass.

I wonder if his car is as quick as the other TSI owner that posted his time in the same thread-

That car is about as fast as an STI... Maybe a little bit slower.

boost numbers alone dont tell the whole story, the higher the boost doesnt necessarily mean the faster you go. and the only mods i saw that would possibly give him an edge was an after market fly wheel. unless some one wants to dechiper these. "FMIC, 16g, SAFC" and he was two cylinders short on top of that!

One thing I do notice at times is when I get on the freeway, there will often be a ricer or the likes as I merge (Southern California). I usually get up to speed (~75mph) and often times the ricer will speed up and blow me. After he passes me, I've seen some put their flashers on I assume they thought we were racing and his fly-by indicated a victory. Kind of funny actually. Does't always happen wtih the ricers though, an older gentleman the other day did not like the fact that I acclerated onto the freeway and passed him in his nice Lincoln Mark VIII. He blew past me, cutting me off and just kept going. One of the reason my wife doesn't like driving the Cobra, people are always ******* with her. It bugs me too. So many folks out there with the my dick is bigger than your dick attitude. Sad really.

All I could think was, Talon Boy, you dumb a**, the Cobra driver probably never even realize you were having this - "racing a Cobra fantasy"

Good thing talon boy's buddies are just as delusional. LMAO

PS. I had a 95 Talon, it was a nice car, but in the class I like to call "pretty snappy", not in the "HOLY SH*T, WTF !!!" class like a Cobra.
