low mileage 03/04 Cobras for sale

So im seeing a handfull of low mileage Cobras for sale. Lets say 15k or less miles. The asking price is in the 26/29k range. Are these guys really selling a 9 year old car at these prices.

I cant see really paying these high prices because everyone didnt enjoy there cars and "saved" them for some reason. Not really the buying market fault

KBB calls out a figure of 22k.

Im really on the fence because for a few K more i can get a new GT

Any thoughts?

well remember it's ultimately supply and demand, and demand is usually high for termis...also know it would be the best frickin 25K you'd ever spend if you are a Mustang guy...to me at that price you are only a few grand away from a GT500 so that would be my choice if I was to plunk down new cash...financing would be easier/cheaper on a newer car as well

Ya that is a pretty damn good deal, considering I see cobra's out here with 30k-40k for 20-25gs. They are beast of a car man!

On my next military leave in 2013 ill be ordering a 2013/2014 Shelby GT500 Racing Red with black pin strips with the SVTPP!!! The Shelby Eleanor gt500 is my dream car, but this 2013 beast will do just fine

we got ours in 03 when they were new,,we got ours at a dealer,,,they really werent selling used cobras,,,we did find 1 with 4k that the dealer would budge on price....every where we went 34,750...we ended up 29,500...plus tax and stuff it still was 34grand,,

buy yea if you have an appoved loan or other to not have to worry about getting your bluff called out...times are hard...

Prices do slowly go down but a rare car that's limited and only made for 2 years, prices aren't going down fast. Some sell it super cheap cause they need the money due to losing their job or adding to the family.
8K miles, i can see almost wanting $30K for it, will they get it?? maybe, maybe not. Could you get a used/new 5.0 for that price, yes. But what's more rare? The 5.0 will be in production for a few more years or even more and alot more made per year than the Terminator. Also which one makes more rwhp and a lot more torque with a few mods?? Cobra. But don't get me wrong, those new 5.0's run hella strong.

I know at this track, the guys in the 5.0's and even a Boss don't know how to drive them yet since they run low to high 13's and it seems like they all run on MT streets. Heck, i go super easy in my Cobra and still run a 12.6 on street tires or a 12.6 in my L and the L even had a bad vacuum leak and a bad IAT2 sensor.

i would love to know the ethics of the "gas prices go up USED car prices go down"

wouldn't that be the other way?

there's cobras i seen go for 14-35k... all depends on what you want and are looking for.
