Ok, im young but I have driven many cars. and for my birthday I just recieved a 01 3.8L , and this is by the far the car that i have found to be the most fun to drive. Im always finding excuses to go out for a cruise. So anyways i have decided that some years down the road i would love to buy another Mustang. and i was just wondering which was quicker a 01-04 Cobra or a newer Mach 1.

03-04 Cobras are supercharged, 390 HP from the factory

01-02 Cobras are naturally aspirated and they are as fast as the MACH1, the IRS (independent rear suspension) is more for taking corners than 1/4 mile, so the MACH1 can beat a similar Cobra in the 1/4.

what type of suspension do 03-04 Cobra's have?

As GTRaptor stated above...IRS (independent rear suspension) with gas-charged Bilstein shocks. Springs for the coupe are 600 Ib./in. & vert are 470 Ib./in. linear rate.

Are only the 03-04 cobras supercharged, or are all of them?

Just the 03/04s, the 2000 Cobra R was naturally aspirated.
