Got My First New 01 SVT COBRA!

Well anyway I went to the dealer auction tonight with my Uncle which owns a auto body shop and I was hoping on getting a 94Ford Mustang 5.0l GT cause I had my eyes set on one but a no luck in seeing one and then I saw a 2001 Ford Mustang SVT COBRA with 37,000km/30833miles and I was the only one that bid on the car and payed $8700cdn/7250U.S The car was a theft recovery with rear end damage which my uncle said it will cost around $3000cdn/2500U.S to fix and is a easy fix. I can't wait to get the car fixed

Yes, you did fine. You are going to enjoy the heck out of it too. I've never forgotten my first cars, and the things learned from them. Believe me, yours is a good year to have.

nice job mike! now lets see some pics.

also, when you are rebuilding the rearend parts, make sure you use upgraded parts. you'll just end up swapping the stock stuff out anyway.
