Could anybody tell me why my brake pads are squealing all over the place when i just had everything replaced. I went to a Precision Tune and had 4 new OEM brembo rotors and all new OEM ceramic brake pads put on.........well supposedly.......then when do my brakes squeal......they never did before. So i take it somewhere else and they say a caliper is binding....and that it will stop the squealing and screeching of the brakes......had 2 new calipers put on and still squealing.

It is the pads. Ceramic pads are noisy. Go with more street oriented pads, they are softer and gentler on the rotors.

I have read that ceramic pads make such a high pitched noise that they cannot be heard by the human ear.....is that like a dog whistle? lol........but anyway the stock ford ceramic pads i had on before made no noise whatsoever............what pads would you recommend?

I have Kevlar Metallic pads and they make zero noise.
If you just had them replaced, then give them a few weeks, they may quiet down a bit.

Hey whats up badass.......you belong to this site also? LOL.....well since i posted this it has been a few months and they still squeel........i might just change the pads out.

My only other question was i thought the ford OEM pads were ceramic.......how come they never made so much noise?

What pads do you have, badass?
