im looking to buy an 03 cobra soon so i wanted to start planning some mods.. so far i'm thinking a 4lb lower pulley..a diablosport predator tuner.. Mac cat back exhaust with an X pipe.. a BBK cold air intake.. a short throw shifter and a ported throttle body (guessing a total of about $2500-3000?). Any idea what kind of hp/tq and 1/4 mile times id be runnin? also how will that affect gas mileage and driveability/reliability of the car?

That is similar to what I have. You will love it. As for numbers, I can't help you there because I don't have a dyno or quarter mile track in my area. I have never lost a street race in this car. Granted I don't run around in those street racing circles anymore since I've "matured" and I know there is stuff out there that will hand me my arse, but if you can get traction you're looking at a mid 11 second street car. Not bad with full interior and AC.

I don't exactly run into those cars in my neck of the woods. The key word is traction. With traction, my tuner said the car is a mid 11 second car. My tuner is Robert Hindman. Look in any MM&FF or 5.0 (in fact the current issue of 5.0 shows him winning a race, and he won at Bristol this past weekend).An example of what I have raced locally is : 1970 Cuda, 440 six pack, full race cam and big gear. It was over by third gear and he knew it. The 03-04 Cobra's are impressive cars. I was too young to own a Boss 429, I wasn't going to miss this opportunity. I have seen more than one article in mustang mags that show stock block 03-04's pushing 1000 with a turbo. A Kenne Bell puts you into the 600 club with little else. Don't find youself wondering one day...."what if?" GET IT.
