Hey guys, I have a 04 cobra with some bald tires lol of course. But i am going to go ahead and replace the rims along when i purchase my tires due to the chrome deteriorating for some reason. It looks like little brown spot that don't come off so i am mainly asking to find out what is the biggest tire i can fit under there. I am pretty set on the rim i want are these fr500 18x10's http://www.mustangtuning.com/dedichfrwh.html
but i am confused on how i should do this, should i get a pair of 18x10 for the rear and also a pair of 18x9's for the front?? Also can you give me a idea of the tire size that i will be able to fit under the back and what i should put in the front.

They have some examples of their 10 inch wheels with various tire sizes. It's not the easiest site to navigate, but their cobra specific wheels and tires are there.

I have a 04 cobra also, I have 18x8 1/2 up front and 18x10 out back. I am running 275/35 up front and 295/35 out back, my car also lowered about a inch and I don't have any clearence issues. But I am also using 1/4 spacers all the way around. My wife ordered me some Foose wheels and the guy GUARENTEED they would fit, guess what they did not. Not a big deal. Just pissed me off. So had use the spacers to make them fit, you don't even notice them unless you are looking for them.

One more thing if anybody is in the market for a new set of tires I would highly recommend looking into BFG's KDW2. I just put a set on my cobra. Probably the best set of tires I have bought. They hook great to street tires.
