a good port job on the stock heads and contact Comp Cams about some blower cams. then you will be good to go.

I've heard good things about these:

And I believe you can step up to the PI heads if I'm not mistaken.
Here's something for ya...

Rob, he has a 32V car.
Am extremely happy w/Fox Lakes CNC-porting & setup work on the PI heads that went on my '96 - they do the 4-valve heads as well. Believe, for that amount of work and $$, I'd stay away from Patriot. I went with Comp 262's on my SOHC; might discuss cams w/Comp and/or Fox Lake. If I remember correctly the Ford 00-01 intake cams and Comp exhausts work well. Thumbs are my freshly ported PI heads.

Fox Lake Ported 4V Cobra Heads

Fox Lake also hand ports all years of 4V Modular heads. In most cases, with Ferrea valves, increases of 50-80 cfm are common with Fox Lake porting!

Stock 4V heads flow 260 cfm intake and 201 cfm exhaust @ .550"

Fox Lake fully ported 4V Modular heads flow a whopping 300-320 cfm intake and 240-260 cfm exhaust at .550" !!!!

If you have a Cobra and don't want a blower or Nitrous we have your answer!

Airflow and RPM!
Our superior parts and workmanship will get you to the finish line first!

(Core value on 4V heads is $650 pr.)
