Default 2004 SVT advice

Good news just bought my first Cobra (2004) with 244 miles!!!! yep it's true. I come from the day of setting points with a match pack so I am looking for some help. This baby is all stock it did come with Borla 2.5 XR-1 exhaust system still in the box. Do I need to do anything to this baby before having this system put on? Also looking for advice for some tweaks nothing major. Couple rice burners running around that need a good American made lesson. Any advice would help
Thanks,
Donald

Put the exhaust on and disconnect the battery for a while. Mild mods are ok but when you start stepping up to pulley change and/or a combination of mods, you will need a tuner ex. SCT or equiv or carry it to someone that can dyno it and customize you a chip. Other than that, go give them want-to-be racer ricers a taste of american muscle.

In the process of a polished whipple - trying to figure out the extent of the fuel system - looks like I'm going with the 18psi pulley 60lb injectors and SCT meter w/ upgraded pumps. Got to get all the Christmas stuff paid for first. Got any pics of your ride?
