Is 50 year old guy in an office job supposed to be an insult? Sorry but take a few decades off of that and youll be closer. But anyways, I dont really like to argue. I just thought it was irritating, although at the same time funny being called a poser by a poser...

I agree Smoke..... It just bothered me that he would bash someone like that. 9584 was just asking for help, not to get slammed by someone who doesn't know that much about cars. I try not to meddle in the other forums unless I have some info that can really be used.

For the record, I liked the look of the car. I had a Steeda emblem on my old GT, does that make me a poser ??? Of course I did have a ton of Steeda parts on it and had the power to bad it up, but who cares, your car had class. Anyways 9584, let us know what you go with. I enjoy driving my 97' and have already beat a V8 Grand Prix and an 02-03 GT. It's got 156k mile on it and still has alot of pep.

+100 to that! Dont let people get you down man, they wont be driving your car. Your V6 looked good, hope you do as nice of a job on your new baby as your old one!

As for my vote, I always had a soft spot for the 97-98 Cobras... Yellow, with a black leather interior... thats the stuff dreams are made of!!!
Good luck!!!

Yea so anyway...

Shouldn't a cobra beat the hell out of a new edge GT or a "v8 (OMG!) GRAND PRIX!!" . I really HOPE that you DID WIN.

Pontiac Grand Am - 5.3L 5300 V8 (with Electronic Throttle Control) with 303 hp and 323 lb-ft of torque.

I think that's a pretty respectable kill seeing that he's got 23 more pounds of torque and his curb weight is 3600lbs, not much more than me.

speaking of "blowing" it off, how many headgaskets has that 3.8L blown yet? Funky's blowing the doors of real cars while you're blowing headgaskets.... that blows

He's joking right? I've never heard of that being a problem on the 3.8...
