hey i have a 2001 svt cobra slp catback x pipe wit high flow cats bbk cold air intake pro 5.0 short shiter. i know two kids that wanna race me 95 z28 and a 97 trans am. the trans am stock just has a cut out and a cold air intake. the z28 has slp catback and cold air intake the kids said he runs 13/2 wit it at the track. there both autos. i race a 98 z28 and killed it but it was bone stock. the trans am and the z both raced each other then the t.a won my a nosie. i think it will be a good race / im lookin about getting my car tune and maybe sum gears and sum drag tires. u think it will be a even race ?

Given they are auto. That might hurt them a little, but then again they could just be pulling your leg and have a lot more work done. Either way good luck.

Oh yeah the drag radials would not hurt either.

You should have them beat... they have LT1's. They dyno around 260-270rwhp stock, you about 275 plus your mods.

It's about knowing when to shift, too...I'd practice somewhere finding the best shift point for your car...I've seen cars with far more hp and torque lose because of the driver--not the car.
