I've seen both as all of you have. Do you think the 2003-2004 Cobra bumpers look better with or without the decal inserts? With them, its a little more pronounced, without it's a cleaner look.
I put them on my '95 GT-I was skeptical at first because I wanted to keep the stock look, but I did it on the cheap in case I didn't like it..I do...When the "cheapos" start looking like cheapos,I'm gonna get the stainless inserts

your car is red yes? get black bumper inserts. it will look sick you will like it
Ummmmm-depends on the rest of the car...my son's is red with a lot of black trim and stripes, smoked lights, dark tinted windows and such, black looks good on his.
Mine is red with silver wheels, clear lights,no stripes,no tint and so on,my letters are chrome, and I like them better for MY car.
But I do agree on the "do it" opinion-choose the color YOU think would be best

I like the look of the inserts. There is a Mystichrome Cobra around here that has the stainless ones and it looks badass! By the way any one know where I can get a 96-98 Cobra rear bumber cover? My 94 Cobra says Mustang and I want it to say Cobra!
Why did they do that?

Get the stainless steel ones. I thought my COBRA would look better with out them, till I saw one just like mine(black) with the ss ones and I liked it so I put some on my COBRA and I love them.
