I wanted to get some opinions on how the 03-04 Cobras are as a daily driver. I am sure most people (especially GT owners) know that Mustangs will rattle and feel loose. Is this similar in the Cobras? Personally, I don't care if my car has a few rattles as long as it performs. Is the seating a pain in the ass and feel uncomfortable?
Well mine is not a daily driver...only 3050 miles so no rattles or loosness, but it is much more solid than my 98 and 02 GT was at going over bumps thanks to the IRS. You will get differing opinions on how the seat feels. As for me, The seats are too tight (I'm only 5'10" 165LBS.) and I have the adjustable bolstering set out as far as they go. I guess the only way to tell is to sit in one yourself, but it's nothing that an aftermarket seat can't cure.

Mine rides pretty cool, but I havent lowered it yet, maybe that will change the ride quality. I think the seats are the $h!t I love them. When I bought my car I had to drive it 6 hours back home and I was conftrable the whole time.

So are you thinking about purchasing a Cobra? If you are, get a beater and make that your daily driver.
Yeah I am definitely looking to buy one one. I have been thinking about getting something cheap to drive to work ans so forth and bring the Cobra out on the weekends, but I might just have to make the Cobra my DD.

I'm with venom, man you need to buy a beater, or do what I do ride a bicycle to work. My TERMINATOR is a weekend car. I bring it out during the week some times.

Who said they were a POS? It's an American car, that is what they do. Though mine doesn't rattle that much.
Get a set of Eibach springs - Pro Kit - I've made several changes to mine and love it all. Do what you will as far as mods, just make sure you keep ALL the OEM parts that come off just in case you want to put it back stock. Heck, I even kept all my IRS bushings for the heck of it.
Personal Opinion on 03/04 Cobra as a Daily Driver ..... GOOD.
It's a great DD if un-modded and still fun to drive.
Even if modded slightly with the standard BPUs-pulley exhaust and tune it is still very, very drivable. Owned 2 .. on my second and used to drive back and forth to work every other week (25miles). No worries, no rattles .. other than change in the cup holder.
Stock .... great DD. Buy it and don't sweat it until you can get a DD beater.
