Default 2003 Mustang Cobra vs 1996 Mustang Cobra

me and my buddy want out lookin for sum races but no luck. so we race each other on the way home. i have a bone stock 2003 cobra i just order a basssani catback and cold air intake for it. my buddy has 96 cobra with a votech superchanger. i think hes runing 12 psi vs my 8 psi. he has cat back x pipe high flows and ect. so we were at like a 30 mph roll i was in 2th gear i jump on it and want i had him by 3 cars but when we hit a 110 he pass me.my stock 03 did really good for stock vs 480 rwhp car. im thinkin once i get the pulley and get it tune its should be a good race????

His blower is designed to make top end power, yours low and mid, all other things being equal I think he'll generally have an advantage on high end roll.

Thumbs down

Are you guys at a track? I hope you are not racing on the streets Last guy that passed me on the highway at 110 miles an hour, had the law on his arse. Almost ran me off the road

read some of my post, racing is from a dead stop, with a tree, 1/4 mile track and with some professionals.

Guys going around punching the cars, with the arm dropped, yelling out the door "go!" is not racing!! HAHA!!!

This crap from a "kick" is never on pinks, professional racing. I wonder why? Here is few reasons. There is no way to control when a person actually leaves, cars are not geared to race from a "kick". There is no rules, when a person leaves, no light. The biggest thing is RULES. You know...... to keep people from cheating!

One more thing, when I was single, I went out looking for chicks not racing. What is wrong with this younger generation! Try using the edit button it works great!

No one asked for your personal opinion about racing or what you believe racing is.
While I don't necessarily disagree with some of your points, this isn't the post for them. You contributed absolutely no value to the thread or answer to his question.

poeple race on the street or track also younger generation wat does that have too do with it. ppl of all different ages race all the time. I had a guy that was in his 50s wanted to race me. also it was late at night no cars on the road four line highway. any happen it be my own life not any one esle. with street racing there are no rules so u can go from a roll or stop doesn;t matter thats the hole point of street racin. also on pink they give cars same thing as a roll, street racing been going on since the 1960s or even early. so like stonecold said No one asked for your personal opinion about racing or what you believe racing is.
