SVT cobra vs. Ford lightning

Has any SVT cobra owners ever raced a Ford lightning with a blower and who won? Or does anyone know who would win in a race?

I ran one with my car basically stock and nosed him out easily so a cobra should not have any problems unless the lightning has mods u can get up to 40hp with just a MAF upgrade on the lightning.

I just raced a 2003 last night with pullies and minor mods (filter, plugs etc.). I have an 89 5.0 w/ over 200k on the motor and mods as follows: 3.73 gears, short shifter, K & N, aluminum drive shaft, exhaust, hotter coil and bigger wires, undrive pullies and I think that is it. We raced starting from various speeds and in all cases I hung with him within one car until about 70mph, after that I did not have the HP to hang. I would think a Cobra can keep up easily and probably pull the quarter mile no problem. The lighnings seem to have trouble on the lower end, but once they get going look out, they run pretty hard.

I was DESTROYED by a modded Lightning this summer. By the time I hit 2nd, he was already a full car+ ahead of me.

lol, I changed big time. Here's my new list. Some guys over on SVTPerformance.com advised me otherwise.
