I know gas prices are killing me . I live out in so cal and gas is like $3.50 a GALLON .

I also sell performance parts and it seems like every time the gas price goes up I sell less parts .

I hope they start going down . my cobra not even close to being finished .

They're not really for me. Gas is like 2.80 here but I have to run 93 b/c of my turbo so it's about 3.10 for me. I'm going to be putting a 347 in the focus so i'm going from about 220 ft lbs and 23mpg to about 600ft lbs and 5mpg.

I dont know which makes me more jealous : the fact that gas is only $3.10 or that you get 23 mpg ( i only get 10 mpg )

eh it's up to 3.05 for regular today. That means 3.25 for me! I cant wait to get the stroker in so I only have to put in 89. Our mazda is getting 35-40 though so we drive that every day.

performance parts is something that is optional. People have to get gas, but performance parts is something you can put off till later.

I think most people can see gas, and performance go hand to hand. so it should be nothing new to ya that when gas goes up, people do go purchase new headers! It is like racing at the tracks. If your low on funds, you just do not go!

In the last year NAPA has been getting more and more of my business even though their prices are much higher than the Autovanreily stores. The NAPA is 5 miles away and they have 'parts men' actually working there! They also special order with just a phone call where the others require prepayment.

I've always ordered the bulk of my parts online. Summit, Rock Auto, Ebay or other on line outlets.

Planning multiple stops in an area to save time and gas has always been important to me, but now even more because of the price of gas.
