Question 1994 mustang cobra in need of new tires

I have a 1994 mustang cobra and purchased a set of tires for it almost 2 years ago and I need some new ones but I wasn't sure of what kind of tires to buy, as mine seem to be a little on the bald side. Any suggestions? thanks!

I have a 95 cobra and I'm goin with some bfgoodrich tires. I would also suggest nitto 555 or the 555r if u want a street/drag radial.

Go to the Tire Rack on line and look at the customer reviews plus Tire Rack tire test - I drive a 94 Mustang Cobra - Koni sports shocks, larger front sway bar ( 1999 Cobra 28mm), stiffer rear springs (2004 GT 210 LB/in) and Ford Racing heavy duty upper rear control arms. Driving in wet and dry (Oregon) I found the GoodYear Eagle F1 GS D3 to be a fantastic tire in the wet and very good in the dry - I went with the 245 45 17 as the 255 is a bit much on this car - Ford went back to the 245's in 96 as well. Hope that helps.

Good tire recommendation ... although I'm another BFG guy, on 18s.
The T/A KDWs have become my standard.
