Hello to all,
My name is Marco and I am new to this web-site. I am really excited in talking with fellow mustang owners and learning from you all. I currently purchased a 1995 SVT Cobra which is absolutely in mint condition in and out. The car's engine is a 306 DSS Bullet which has Edelbrock Heads, RPM II Manifold, BBK 70 MM Throttle Body, Vortech Super Charger, Dual Fuel Pumps, 42 lb injectors, Tremec Manual TKO Transmission, 3.73 Rear End & a 75 shot of NOS.
The problem I have with the car is it's inconsistant idleling and constant back-firing at high RPM's. Seven out of ten times it turns off on me after I heat up my slicks at the track. I was told that 1995 SVT Cobras can not be flash tune like newer vehicles and therefore require a stand alone computer to correct the problems i am experiencing. The guy that sold me the car told me that it's just too much upgrades to the engine for the stock ECM to work properly.
Can someone please give me their opinion on resolving my problem and recommendations in respects to the ECM.
Kind regards,
Marco
