Default mods for the 1995 Mustang cobra

Hello everyone I have a 1995 cobra. The mods I currently have are slp loudmouth catback and a mgw short throw shifter. My current plans for the car are to add a stroker kit by eagle autosports (347), port and polish the heads and intake, and buy a new cam. I will be getting forged internals so it can take the power. What else do you guys think I should buy for the car and what kind of power do you think I will have when I'm finished with the build up. My long term goals are to eventually reach 500 rwhp. Am I on the right track?

I have a 1995 cobra. I'd start off with under drive pullies, cold air intake, DIFFERENT GEAR'S, Headers, I was told they come with forged internals from ford. If you you stroke the motor I'd get different head's instead of the "gt-40's " iron heads that come stock. The "gt-40" upper intake, lower from ford wont handle 500+. Trick flow has a nice kit along with edelbrock. Some people dont like long tube headers because it's a pain in the ass to install. But in your case the motor is out so it will be easy to do. But with any header I'd pick a ceramic coated kind " better for heat control" If you go 500+ horse I dont think the t-5 tranny will handle the power, along with the clutch. With a 347, and a super charger you should be around 500+

Hey thanks a lot for the reply. I will eventually be getting new heads and a new intake, but for now the shop who is doing the stroker kit is pretty much doing the port and polish for free. My plan for now is to get the stroker, build the rear end and tranny, and then supercharge it. I wasn't aware of the fact that the 95 cobra came with forged internals? I guess I could be wrong can someone clear that up? Oh and one last question what kind of power should I see once the stroker kit is in?

I couldnt really tell you how much. I would guess some where in the 300's but not any higher but I would ask the shop I'm guessing that they have done it before and might have guess.

sorry about that!
