Most of the time if it's a chip, and not a hand held tuner, they are made specific to the modifications of your vehicle. Some places even require that you give them a list of what you've done to the car, and then send the computer to them for upgrades.

It will work but I'm not so sure its a good idea. Those chips are universal in that they don't take into consideration the exhaust mods and changes in airflow that your car already has. What I'm saying is you could take an already lean condition and make it worse and BOOM! It will work if you use it but it may not give you any more power and could make your car run worse. I would send it back or sell it and buy a tuner. I've been thinking about getting a Xcal 2 from Bamachips, The Mustang Tuning Source to go with my mods. They set up the tuner with 3 tunes specifically for the mods you have on your car. Its not quit as good as a custom tune but its better than a universal chip.

Based on what mentioned for Mods, it should work fine. I didn't see any intake mods. Headers and exhaust and gears are not going to effect your Air/Fuel ratio. Most "boxed" tunes will add a bit of timing and lean the engine a little. Both of which give you a LITTLE boost in performance. But each car is different and your car may already be on the lean side from the factory. Boxed tunes are bad for this reason. If you got a lean (safe) tune from the factory and you add a tune which leans it more, then toss in some extra timing, you could cause damage. So there is a risk. And you won't get much from this tune even if it does run ok. beter off spending the money elsewhere. Then when you have enough mods, go get it dyno tuned at a shop. Any tune is not worth it at this mod level, even if they do ask you what you have on the car.
