a friend of mine is looking for upgrading the whole ignition system for his 99 SVT Cobra.
what parts should he search for? where?

Not to sound sarcastic, but why upgrade it at all. Is it high mileage? Because the factory Ignition is really good and there isn't any gain in performance in changing it. I would only recommend changing the plugs to NGK and maybe narrow the gap some if he is getting spark blowout.

the car made 60K+ and performance went down. we were thinking of changing plugs, wires/coils and fuel injectors. can we have these items from a decent performance/aftermarket manufacturer?

The factory Ignition might be "REALLY GOOD" in your opinion, BUT one of my Coils exploded, cracked my plug into twenty pieces and turned my 99 Cobra into a heap of dead metal til I do a complete engine tear down! CJ
