Default Camber camber plates required?

I have a 95 cobra. I'm in the process of installing 1-1/2 inch lowering springs. Will I need to install caster camber plates or will it align o.k.
Thanks in advance.

They're not absolutely required, but they're recommended as is some Steeda X2 ball joints. They'll help keep the geometry correct. But for the plates, they'd be a good idea to get. If money is a concern, you could get them later on.

Here's the ball joints...

Money is not the problem. I was just wondering if they were needed. Thanks for the info.

I have the same and i got the cas/cam plates , but what i did find that was more neccasarry was a "bump steer kit" and steering rack "offset bushing" kit to keep my gometry all in tune..........no regrets.

have h&r springs, steeda bump steer,295 35 r18 on rear/275 35 r18 on front of my 96 cobra. look to shock towers and drill out factory rivets. pull shock mount all the way out. mine came right in without caster/camber plates.

i have a 95' cobre,
got carried away with all the front end mods, because i went to a set of eibach lowering springs......installed everything myself...it taught me alot about geometry...lowering your car will throw of your "camber" settings, therefore the cas/cam plate kit is important if you want even tire wear from inside tire edge to outside edge. positive caster is important for tracking when driving straight. ....last year i was following a friend on a dark two-lane road (late at night) when, out of NOWHERE a kyote crossed in front of me....A ZIG, A QUICK ZAG and i was back in my lane in a new pair of "wet" designer jeans....the jeans got washed, my car got saved.................so go for it....no regrets on mods.
