Default Long Tube Headers???

i need to take my header(long tube) off in order to take the tranny out. can i take it off without moving the engine up or down? is there any clearance between the heads and the wall?

There is little room between that engine and everything under the hood of that car. From what I remember even with shortys you need to move the motor to get them in/out. So I think that you may have to.

just a thought if you have to take the headers off just put a tubular k member on...that way next time you can get headers off in 20 min..when i put my kooks headers on i did the k member too..only took 3.5 hours for everything but we had a hoist and there was two of us doing it
