Do the cobras have IMRC butterfly valves like the 2005+ GTs do?

My 98 COBRA has them. Only a few year COBRAs recieved them. This helped the numbers in the low end range. Removing them with either a delete kit or removing the butterflies yourself will hurt your lower end a litlle but if you have power adders you can make up for it.

IMRC controls the butterflies on the intake manifold. The valves remain shut until a pre determined preprogrammed load then the IMRC opens the buttlerflies. Its a control box mounted under your intake with 4 bolts. You will have to take the intake off which is good cause if its acting up you will most likely need to clean you IMRC plates.
