Hey there, for some reason my 1998 cobra has been losing torque over 6 grand. I can almost feel the nose drop. keep it mind the rev limiter doesnt even kick in until right around 7 grand. I use to be able to take it to 6800 and shift with plenty of torque. I put a c4 trans in it with a 3500 stall. The only engine mod i got is a after market throttle body and exhaust. Can someone please help? Ive been gettin beat by civics....haha

Here are some possibles:
incorrect ignition timing, excessive play in distributor shaft(also check for faulty distributor cap, wires and etc.), bad or incorrectly gapped spark plugs, dirty air filter, bad ignition coils, binding brakes, fuel filter clogged/ impurities in system, EGR system not working properly, low or uneven cylinder compression pressures ( you better hope its not compression....$$$$$), dirty of clogged fuel injectors, fuel injection malfuction, or restricted exhaust.
