hey guys i have a 03 cobra just put on magnaflow x pipe and magnaflow exhaust, with the 02 sensor extentions, drove the car for 3-4 hours no problem, then check engine comes on. why do i have the light on also is it bad for the car am i losing horsepower?

prob no loss of HP but it does depend on the DTC, get it scaned..... I'd be willing to bet it has someting to-do wth those O2 monitor extensions...

02 extensions dont work.. you need the mil eliminators

edit: depending on the code. id be willing to say rear o2 sensors unless you dont have a catless mid pipe because you do not have the mil eliminators. you should not be loosing power but you will have to have the codes clear wich will reset your i/m monitors and if you have a tune your probably gonna have to reinstall via handheld tuner

yep i bet its you 02 censor, my x pipe set my light on but i turned it off with a tuner.
