Any Suggestions? Best spark plugs for a 1998 Cobra SVT?

Anyone have any suggestions on which spark plugs would are the best overall plug for my 98 Cobra. I have been considering the Platinum 4 from Bosch, but recently heard they may have a short lifespan inspite of their claims. Thanks for any input.

I've heard mixed reviews with platinums as well. I put NGK Iridiums in my 1991 GT and they made a noticeable difference in gas mileage-better than I ever had before. My friend put in Autolite XP plugs(iridium enhanced) and he's happy with those too.

Motorcraft AGSF-22-C, which is a copper core plug if you want better performance or AGSF-22P-P if you want longevity

Thanks Randy and Cobrajet67. I will read all the available propaganda on these three plugs.

I had the Platinum 4 Bosch plugs. They work very well when I had them. But never went back to them after the second time changing them. Cost was to much for me because they didnt last that long.

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I'll probably go with an Iridium plug. Just curious though, SVT1995, you said the Platinun 4's didn't last very long. About how many miles did you get out of a set and what was wrong with them, burned, carboned up or?

They both lasted no more them 10,000mi. I do play rough with the car. I also do go down to the track and play around. They seened to have good anount of carbon on them. I could always tell when it was time to change them because they would start to hesitate when I smash on the gas

I just changed mine and put in the standard copper core Autolites and it really helped my car out. The Motorcrafts (they looked to be stock) were pretty carboned up and such. I don't know when they were last changed but I changed them at 152K.

It runs top notch now and they were only like $1.64/plug.
