Mine went bad, the module is attached to the ABS pump and no lines had to be diconnected. The entire ABS unit can be loosened up and pulled down a few inches. My abs light was staying on and the traction light was staying on as well. I had a Ford dealer diagnose it and they told me that the trouble code was coming up as a short in the right front sensor wire harness. They would gladly track the problem down for 88 dollars an hour. I spoke with another tech after I opened the harness up all the way fron the ABS unit to the sensor. He told me that the computer boards (mounted on the ABS unit) go bad all the time and I should buy one. I took the gamble and paid $525.00 for the part. Took me 45 minutes to put in and now the ABS light and the traction lights both work well.
Good luck!
