Default AC problem any ideas?

My AC won't blow out the vents but will blow out the defrosters any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

1995 Mustang Cobra SVT

It sounds like maybe the vac. pod that moves the doors for air direction.Look under the dash and find them,they look like a round bell shape with a vac. hose running to me.Check the vac. hose and listen and watch them while the car is running and you switch the selecter.

check the vacuum supply lines for above mentioned vacuum pods as well,
a leak or disconnected line will cause the system to "default" to defrost as a safety precaution
uf there was any work done recently the supply line under the hood could have been knocked off?????

ac system goes into default mode, which is defrost mode when there is a vaccum problem. check all your vaccum lines. Mine was a yellow tube behind the gauge was dry rotten and as soon as i fixed it, it went back to the vents.

Have you already check the fan speed all the way up? It's possible that it would be a low freon. If that's the case, you have to check for the leaks.
