when i rev high in second and shift to third i get a quick backfire and kind of a empty throttle response before i feel the power comeback. I noticed this started to happen after i got a bbk o/r x-pipe. is this dangerous for my car? how can i stop this?

I guess ill offer what help i have , since no one helps out recently in this forum, obviously.

My Car did the same thing when i put a O/R x on. My tuner said it was b/c the car was running real rich. Something About a Voltage spike to the injectors when u hit the next gear. Mine did it up until i got my headers (8 months or so).Its cool tho, u throw flames @ night(or i've been told). Its all in the exhaust, u should be safe.

lol,,,yeah iv had people tell me that too. i never really thought much about it until i took it to the track and and about a handful of people said they thought i broke something from the big bang halfway down the strip. good to know its all in my exhaust though and that im not the only one whos had this happen. thanks
