im looking at a 1999 mustang svt and its a white convertable and has cobra rims, i have the vin number for it , id like to know if there is a way of finding out how to know if it was recalled for the right horsepower or not. Iknow about the green dots on the intake or w.e but i looked at the guys engine and didnt see ne dot , can some one show me a picture or give me a number to call to find out , thx

Just get an 01 bro they fixed the minor problems they were having for the 99 by 01.

Did you get the car? if i were you i wouldnt pass on a good deal just because its a 99... thats what mine is and theyr still great cars,, regardless of the problems some have had. ,,this old thread might help you find out if it has had the fix done.... http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...s-expired.html

Just go to any Ford dealer w/the vin # and have them run it.That will tell you ALL the service work done even the recall work.Thats what I did w/mine.Good luck!
