anyone with 96-98 cobras have their car ever hesitate when they start to accelerate idles good

well i know alot about turbos and im kinda new with supers... but if im thinking right (if cobras are supercharged), it could be a lag in the superchargers spoole time. so basically the RPMs on the engine are not high enough to spin the supercharger fast enough create enough pressure or aka boost... did i help at all... anyone please correct me if im wrong

ya i think its just spool lag... cuz the fan inside the supercharger picks up speed when the engine gets faster, thus creating more more boost as you go faster

I have a 98 Cobra and the 98's didn't come with a super charger. Anyways, I had the same problem with the hesitation then a little backfire in the exhaust. It was my damn spark plugs. It had the Bosch 4 point multispark and they were garbage. 2 plugs burned out complete!! in 5 months. I replaced them with autolites and problem solved.

have you tried using some seafoam in the intake and gas to clean it out a little?
