I recently purchased a used 2004Mustang Cobra SVT and I have a Fuel Regulator Problem. It has been to the Ford dealer five (5) times now with the same problem within eight (8) weeks, and it happens again within a 100 miles of driving. The car runs fine, and then it won't start and is starving for fuel. I the have it towed to the dealer and they say that the fuel regulator has gone out, and they replace it. Then it runs fine again for a short time. They now believe that it was ported, etc...before I bought it, and has more power so it need more fuel. When it is drivin faster, the stock fuel regulator can't keep up, so it shuts down. The dealer is one of the best in Southern California, and they are stumped. Has anyone else had this problem and can direct me in the right direction. Help!!

Is it running the OEM fuel pump? Might new a Boost-a-pump

Yes, but the fuel pump keeps pumping, but the regulator shuts down when it can't keep up....the dealer tells me (?). Is their a combo fuel pump regulator that is adjustable based on volume, etc.. that you know of?
