I just picked up a used 99' Black Cobra 5spd with 3100 miles on it. The vehicle is in near mint condition. The car had been garaged for some time - the first thing I noticed was the mildew odor and musty smell on the interior. Also, when I ran the AC it really smelled badly. Does anyone know if there are fresh air intake filters that I can clean / disinfect. I plan on wiping down the interior and letting it 'air-out' on the first good sunnny day here in Ohio to remove or mitigate the interior odors.

Also, the spring loaded latch for the center console lid hook is broken - does anyone know how to replace this catch - it looks like it just snaps into the plastic surround - I just don't want to start prying away and do more damage than good.

I had the same problem with my 99 vert, if it is like mine all you need to do is get a flathead screwdriver and pull the tab piece up and it should close normally. Hope this helps
