2003 Mustang Cobra. Tremec t-56 shift problems 2nd to 3rd

I own a 2003 SVT and have difficulty getting into third gear, only when shifting at high RPM at the track. What is the best shifter for this tranny? This is the second SVT I have owned with this problem and I swear it's not human error as these are the only cars of many muscle cars I've owned that has this problem. Thanks for any help in troubleshooting this problem.

Yea most of us have that same problem. The shifters on these are not the best. I would either go witht the pro 5.0 or Hurst. That is what many of my friends and I are using. Plus get a adj. cluch cable that will help out as well. My clutch was letting out at about a half inch of the floor and when trying to hit 3rd I would miss some times.
