Default 1994 Mustang Cobra tiny radiator below the actual radiator? What is it?

I think this is something only on Cobras. I was just wondering what it is. Its a tiny little radiator just below my actual radiator. Its obviously cooling down something. Is it the trans fluid? oil? Anyone have a clue?

Thanks

It's a cooler for the rack n pinion. if you follow one of the lines, it goes to the rack and the other to the power steering pump. Mines got one too.

wow, really? Thats surprising. I wouldnt think it would really need to be cooled. How sure are you about that?

I checked for a leak last year and i tracked all the lines down from the cooler. I also checked with ford and was told the same.

Its cool how many little extra things there are on Cobras. Should really lengthen the lifetime of them.

It would only make sense since the breaks are hydroboost assisted and the ps pump has to not only power the steering but the brakes as well

the brake system on these cars are brake booster assist, not hydroboost.
