Default Newbi Here! 1997 Cobra

Hello All!

I found a 1997 SVT Cobra for $4000. Here's the catch. It needs at the very least an engine rebuild or a short block. It sounds like it may have spun a crank bearing. It's super charged, running about 10 psi of boost. It also has 410 rear end gears along with a host of other mods. He is also including about $1500 in new exhaust and other parts. The car has about 78000 miles on it. Is it worth it? Around what would it cost to rebuild or replace this engine?

Thanks for the info
Alan
